3 Summer of Love
Монтерее состоялся фестиваль поп-музыки [Monterey Pop Festival, Monterey], который собрал таких кумиров молодежи, как поп-группы "Мамас энд папас" [Mamas and Papas], "Джефферсон эрплейн" [ Jefferson Airplane], "Грейтфул дэд" [Grateful Dead], "Ху" [The Who], "Дорс" [Doors, The], а также исполнители Джэнис Джоплин [ Joplin, Janis] и Джимми Хендрикс [ Hendrix, Jimi]. Газеты подчеркивали мирный характер контркультуры [ counterculture] с ее лозунгами "всеобщей любви" [ love-in] и "власти цветов" [ Flower Power]English-Russian dictionary of regional studies > Summer of Love
